B/C Seven days later, the canals were rinsed and working length was determined with slight overinstrumentation; subsequently, the canal was fully debrided and a calcium hydroxide dressing was placed.
D Twenty-four hours later, the patient presented with significant swelling as a result of the extrusion of necrotic tissue.
E Following intraoral incision and release of suppuration, the patient's pain symptoms immediately subsided.
F-H Five days after reduction of the acute symptoms, the canal was again instrumented, and definitively filled two months later.
